Is internal sliding benificial by taking information tech.branch in mnit allhabad to get cse?

-my AIR in aieee is 8316and i want cse branch in mnit allhabad i had a query that will internal sliding by taking informtion tech. branch , be a best option for me or waitng till spot rounds to get admission in cse branch in mnit allhabad and i also want to know that genrally which option among the two proves to be best????It won't be a wise decision to wait for the spot round. Internals sliding is scheduled prior to SPOT round. So don't expect any descent branch to be available in SPOT round. Best alternative is to get into MNIT and get the desired branch in internal sliding.
